There is nothing that grabs my attention more from a book than age difference and when the guy is a little a**h*le… there is something SEXY about them. Brett compromised with his work and only his work, he follows the said “don’t s*it where you eat” and even more after he found out what the Sweet James did, he feels betrayed and tries to forget everything that happened between James and him, but when a certain actress begs him to get signed with his company he will find himself torn between his ethic or his feelings. He perfectly knows the industry and should know the best for both, but mainly for James. James is the American sweetheart with a bright future ahead of her but one thing leads to another and now she finds herself alone and begging the sexy-liar to take her to help her to get everything back. She knows that having Brett besides her everything will get back to normal, she knows she can trust him, even when he lied to her but right now there is no one else she trusts more than him, and he will prove to her she didn’t make another mistake. Both characters are great, even when James is young and in a bad situation, she knows what she want and is willing to fight to get her promised perfect future back and include certain sweet/rude man; and Brett is willing to give up what he really wants for what he thinks is the right thing to do and loved how he managed their situation, he is the perfect (hard-rude) gentleman we all are looking for. I seriously would love to know more about Jame and Brett, and not only them 🙂
