Smart, fun and funny but also poignant.
Natalie and Nate meet at a Tech conference, spend one unforgettable night just talking and baring their souls to each other.
But then they find out that they are direct competitors for that really big account and are basically work enemies.
“He’s not my type.”
Which is true, because I don’t have a type.
Or… I thought I didn’t. Now I’m worried I might and that type is Nate Hanover. There’s probably not a large pool of those out there, so this could be a problem.”
Look Smart is a Romeo and Juliet, star crossed romance. Nate & Nat sneak around the conference hotel trying to spend time together and trying not to stare longingly at each other in public!!
“Her arms tighten around me, and honestly, as much as I’d love to have sex with her again, I’d be just as content standing here like this. She makes existing so easy. Just being around her helps me breathe. What am I supposed to do with that?”
Nate is in such a bad place and doesn’t know how to deal with everything that life seems to be throwing at him.
The author deals with this dark, heavy subject with such understanding and grace.
The audiobook narration was wonderful. I loved listening to this on audio and I think it added an extra dimension to my enjoyment of the story!!
