Emery Ericksen fled her herd, intent on escaping an arranged marriage to an abusive alpha. Ending up in a small town, she works as a waitress at the Sassy Wolfe, saving up as much money as possible so that she can move on before she winds up on one of the local wolves’ dinner menu. She managed to stay under the radar, not attracting too much attention, until he walked into the bar. A possessive bear with a gruff attitude, who wanted to throw her over his shoulder, take her back to his cave, and do delicious things to her. What was fate thinking giving her a bear for a mate, anyway?
After the death of his parents, Knox Channing moved his family to the small town of Blue Creek where they could build a new life. He loves his family, his ranch, and his solitude-in that order. If he had his way, he would never leave the peace and quiet of his home. All that changes when he catches her scent. After years of being alone, he finally found his mate. She was beautiful, curvy as hell, and…a bunny?
Sure there is no chance of a future with Knox, Emery believes she must stick to her original plan, hopping town as soon as possible. Even if Knox can stop her from running, will he be able to keep her safe from her past when it catches up with her?

💚🐇💚 Review by TashaM 💚🐇💚

Dawn Sullivan writes the best paranormal. I adore her shifter books. You get invested and want to know everything. You fall in love with the side characters and wanna make sure they even get their HEA….

The story starts of with a bang. These shifters are Bear and Bunny. I love the scene in mind. Cos a bunny is Cute, Shy and tiny while we all know how huge a bear is. Weird fitting yet the fit so well together.
Emery’s past will bring you to tears and you are so proud she fought with all her might and made it out.
Knox is the eldest of his siblings. He is such a hot, alpha Hero. Also just as Amazing brother.

When danger knocks on the door for Emery they all waste no time in making sure not even a strand of hair will be touched.

Another Winner By Dawn. Hope you all enjoy this awesome book as much as I did…

#NewRelease Arrogant Devil by R.S. Grey #RomCom #Standalone #Banter #OurReviews #5Stars

OUR REVIEW:

“I AM FALLING IN LOVE WITH JACK MCNIGHT!!!!!!!!!”

Arrogant Devil is a fun and funny entertaining RomCom with a gruff hero, a quirky heroine and banter for days!

“We’ve had a rocky start,” I admit sheepishly.

A gleam of interest sparks in his light brown gaze. “I can’t imagine why. You seem sweet enough to me.”

I KNOW, RIGHT! Finally someone gets it.

“I don’t think I’m the problem…”

Underneath the fun of the story is an emotional journey for Meredith. She is learning to stand on her own two feet and pulling herself out of an abusive relationship. Her growth in this story is beautiful to watch as she develops into a stronger person.

“I was married to a monster, but you? You might have him beat.” I laugh acerbically. “I even find it all a little hilarious—I escape from hell just to run right into the arms of the devil.”

Jack McNight is “the perfect cowboy fantasy I never knew I had.” The story is populated with some amazing characters. Including Alfred, a sweet and loyal golden retriever, and Jack’s grandmother, Edith, who schemes not so secretly behind everyone’s backs!

I loved this story and didn’t want it to end! Maybe a few extra epilogues would be nice??

About ARROGANT DEVIL

Everyone in Cedar Creek, Texas, knows Jack McNight is an arrogant devil. Physically, I get it: he’s tan and fit, with coal-black hair that’s clearly been scorched by hellfire. Oh, and his personality? It burns just as hot.

When I show up on the doorstep of Blue Stone Ranch, I’m run-down and rockin’ my last pair of underwear. I’m hoping for a savior, but instead, I find him.

My opinion of Jack is marred by a dismal first impression, but his opinion of me is tainted even before I arrive. He’s heard I’m a spoiled princess there to take advantage of his goodwill. To him, I’m more trouble than I’m worth.

Our button-pushing banter should get under my skin. His arrogance should be a major turn-off. Problem is, devils are known to offer their own form of temptation.

Every one of his steely glares sends a shiver down my spine.

Every steamy encounter leaves me reeling.

Sure, it could be the Texas heat messing with my head, but there’s no way I’ll survive the summer without silencing him with a kiss and wrestling him out of those Wranglers.

Who knows…going to bed with the devil might just be the salvation I’ve been looking for all along.

Sean Phillips is a sexy as sin enigma.
Cocky. Promiscuous.

His quick moves and sure hands extend way past the lines of the football field—and into the bedroom.

🔥🔥🔥Review By TashaM 🔥🔥🔥

MAX MONROE ladies these two are absolutely brilliant… I would love to know where they get their inspiration from. Each book if their’s is unique…. Pick Six is definitely a Six Star read.
From introduction you are Hooked.

The moment you meet Six you know you in for the most amazing read. She was such a breath of fresh air.
This lady and her thoughts are fucking hilarious. She will have you in stitches from the moment you meet her.

Sean is her perfect partner really. They bounce of each other and they don’t even see it… Their banta and dialogue have glued to every word.
Their chemistry and heat always is about boiling point and when they come together each and every time it’s explosive…

When Max Monroe says it’s a romantic comedy it really is there were many times I swooned and awed or laughed my Fucking arse off.

Enjoy this incredible read now!!!!

The Greatest Risk (The Honey Series #3)

By Kristen Ashley

OUR REVIEW:

5 FLAMING HOT STARS!

I love this series that is a bit of a departure for this author. It is BDSM and much more erotic stories.

The Greatest Risk is book 3 in The Honey Series. Each of these books can be read as standalone, but do have interconnected characters.

“Because Sixx was used to taking risks. She did not calculate them. She did not move through them cautiously. She met them head on.”

I really loved how vulnerable the heroine, Simone/Mistress Sixx, was even while she was such a strong, take charge domme.

Stellan Lange is an ultimate KA alpha hero. Swoony, protective, caring and as sweet on the inside as he is hard and tough on the outside!!

“You’re criminally gorgeous, insanely wealthy, excruciatingly generous, irritatingly intelligent, and you can cook?”

I just adored this off the charts HOT and KINKY story!! Along with the steam is a beautiful story of character growth, redemption and hope. Stellan has to work hard to help Simone realize what an amazing person she was underneath her invisible scars.

I so enjoyed the glimpses we get of the characters from the previous Honey series stories. I really don’t want this series to end and hope maybe a novella or two might be down the road.

Epoch, the stunning conclusion to the Transcend Duet by Jewel E. Ann,  is LIVE!

OUR REVIEW:

After reading Transcend, I couldn’t wait to dive right into Epoch. I had been left with so many questions. In Epoch, JEA answers some questions and maybe throws in a few more twists to keep our hearts pounding.

“I have been here many times before. Not this body … but somewhere in my mind the memory has transcended time,”

This book is an emotional roller coaster. I felt like I was flipping pages and just along for the ride as the story pulled me along with the force of a whirlwind.

“We can uncover the past together. And when one of us breaks, the other one will know how to glue all the pieces back into place.”

Gorgeous writing makes this story bigger than life. The words clung to me even when the book was closed and all I could think about were these characters and the choices they would have to make.

“There’s no way for this to end without me giving up a piece of myself, without me saying goodbye to part of my shattered heart.”

Epoch is Such an Amazing journey and this author ultimately gives us such a beautiful story and maybe more definitions for what Love is and can be!

-5 Stars!-

-Diane-

Some lives end unfinished, and some transcend time.

After a horrific incident, Swayze finds herself trapped between two lives. Patchy memories and fear for her own safety thrust her into a gut-wrenching journey to uncover the truth.

Will she let her dreams slip away to seek retribution and find the missing pieces to a puzzle that existed a lifetime ago?

“I’m not going to watch you self-destruct. I’m not going to watch you fall in love with another man.”

Or will she discover the only truth that matters?

Epoch pushes the boundaries of what we believe and what we know. It redefines fate and proves that the only thing separating the heart and the soul is an infinite timeline.

“I think a part of you will be mine to love in every life.”

Title: Something So Unscripted

Author: Natasha Madison

Goodreads: https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/39036169-something-so-unscripted

Something So Unscripted is an emotional second chance at love for single dad, Zack Morrow. Life and love cannot be scripted. Zack knows this better than anyone as he tries to be at the top of his game as an NHL player and get his son Jack the best treatment from the best hospitals and doctors around.

“You have a light in you that shines so brightly it can’t be dimmed.”

I loved Denise. She came from a very difficult childhood, she is so caring and intelligent and makes an amazing children’s doctor. She is just what Zack and Jack need in their lives. It couldn’t be scripted better!

Zack

Finding my teammate in bed with my wife made the decision I had been fighting with for years easier.

It’s time to move on.

A fresh start and a new NHL team in a big city. Most importantly, it’s my son Jack’s best shot.

It would be both of our best shots.

Denise

After a bad childhood, I made sure I would succeed, so I lived for my job.

The problem is I die a little with each patient I lose. It’s part of my career at Hudson Children’s Oncology Hospital, but it doesn’t make the sting of loss any easier.

Seeking anything other than a life saved isn’t on my agenda until a NHL player walks into my hospital with his son.

We’re officially off script the moment we meet.

If this love is anything, it’s unscripted.

EXCERPT

“Zack.”  I hear her voice and just look at my wife. The woman who said she would love me in good times and in bad yet is currently holding a sheet to cover her naked body. The four-carat engagement with matching eternity wedding ring glistens in the light. “It’s just …” she starts to say, and I look over at the man in bed next to her. In our bed.

“It’s over.” I say the two words I swore I wouldn’t say no matter how hard it got. No matter how much I saw her push me away, no matter that I always suspected she was cheating on me. Then I look over at the man who I called a brother, the man who stood by my side on and off the ice. “You’re scum.”

“It just happened,” Colton says, getting out of the bed. At least he’s wearing boxers. His knee is still wrapped from the operation he had last month, which is why he wasn’t on the road with us, which is how I surprised them.

We were on the road for the whole week and due back tomorrow, but I hightailed it out of there to get home to my family and my son. “It just so happened you walked into my house and slept with my wife?” I ask him, and I have to wonder why I’m not more pissed, why I’m not more angry with them. “You come here and sleep with my wife with my son under the same roof.”

“Zack,” my wife says, and I look over at her again. Tears are rolling down her cheeks, her perfectly made up face now streaked with the black mascara she always wears. “Please let’s …”

I shake my head, putting my hands in my pockets. “Let’s what? Let’s talk about this?” I throw my head back and laugh. “Let’s talk about the fact that our son is in his room dying. Let’s talk about the fact that instead of helping him, you’re just helping yourself. Let’s talk about the fucking fact that instead of being there by his side with me, you chose to escape the fucking reality that our son won’t make it to six years old.”

“No.” She shakes her head, and I know that I’ve about had it.

“I’ll give you an hour,” I tell them both. “One hour and I want you packed and at the door when I come back.”

“But—” she says.

“But nothing, Chantal. You did what you had to do for you, and now I’m doing what I need to do for our son.”

I turn and walk out of our bedroom, then down the winding staircase that leads to the big brass front doors. Once outside in the warm Arizona air, I take my phone out of my pocket and call the only person I know who has my back no matter what. My agent and best friend, Jamie.

He answers after one ring, and it doesn’t surprise me he sleeps with his phone in his hand. “What’s up?” he says, his voice sleepy since it’s four a.m. in New York.

“I want out of Arizona, make the trade. Call the powers that be; I want out,” I tell him, getting into my Range Rover.

“You can’t just demand that,” he says, and I hear sheets rustle.

“Just walked in on Colton fucking my wife, so you can bet your ass I can. Make it happen. Call New York because it’s the only place I’ll go. I don’t care if I take a pay cut.”

“That fucking scumbag,” he says. “I’ll call them now.”

“Jamie, there is a top-notch doctor who specializes in cancer in New York. Max Horton’s sister,” I tell him quietly and slowly drive out of my gate.

“I’ll make it happen,” he says softly. “I’ll let you know what they say.”

“Jamie, I’m leaving here in a week regardless of what they say,” I tell him and disconnect the call.

“One week,” I say to myself. “One fucking week.”

#NewRelease Smiling Irish (The Summerhaven Trio #2) by Katy Regnery @KatyRegnery #5Stars #Swoony #Standalone

From the New York Times bestselling author of The Blueberry Lane series comes a new trio of romances featuring the Haven triplets!

Tierney Haven and Burr O’Leary come from completely different worlds…

…but there’s a reason they say “opposites attract.”

Bookish Tierney Haven has always preferred places to people, and she especially loves the peace and quiet of Moonstone Manor, an estate museum located in the White Mountains of New Hampshire, where she is head docent, chief historian and live-in caretaker. The very last thing she expects to find on the doorstep at midnight is bruised and bloodied stranger, Burr O’Leary, in desperate need of her help.

Against her better judgement and at the risk of her brothers’ wrath, Tierney offers Burr sanctuary at Moonstone Manor, and nurses him back to health, surprised to discover that the dashing, enigmatic stranger loves the history and peace of Moonstone as much as she. But Burr has a dark history, and those who hurt him will stop at nothing to eliminate him…placing Tierney in grave danger until he is well enough to find them first.

OUR REVIEW:

Smiling Irish is such an awesome, romantic and entertaining story. Beautifully written, the story just draws you in from the start.

“Our story began on a dark and stormy, night, aisling. Those tales don’t always end well.”

Tierney is a great heroine. She is strong and independent, but both supports and relies on her family. And Burr is a perfect swoony, if slightly overprotective hero.

“Don’t dangle a steak in front of me, then tell me to eat dog food. Don’t tell me you want me, then tell me to move on, because I can’t. I won’t. My mind’s fixed on you. If things don’t play out between us, I’ll always wonder.”

After reading Fighting Irish I couldn’t wait to read Tierney’s story. Smiling Irish is the second book in the Summerhaven Trio series, but they are all standalone stories. But, I really loved getting more of Brittany and Rory! Their love is just SO romantic!

Natasha’s Review

Ladies Nina Lane has gone and given us another Master Piece. 6 Stars…

She has given two characters that you wanna hug. You wanna just tell them to trust but you understand from their pasts why they struggle.

What a beautiful ride these characters have take us on.

Words will not do this book justice but I will try…. Just know if you are a Nina Lane Fan you will definitely not be disappointed.

Flynn and Eve are such beautiful characters. Their lives have brought them pain and heartache.

They both have made mistakes some I really didn’t like but what’s important they knew it was wrong and didn’t go one forever with them.

These were strong they just didn’t know it until they found their Better half.

Eve’s Mother is like Cruella DeVill but I’m so glad Eve moved past her. And didn’t let her mother ruin her. She fought and stayed Fighting, in the end she got the Guy, and her Fairytale Ending

These Characters have Amazing chemistry and when they come together it’s like more Heat and Magic.

Enjoy this beautiful emotional read.

Behind his beautiful eyes
Lay a thousand secrets and lies.
But my own secrets are all laid bare
The twisted reality of a disgraceful affair.
I once deciphered the mysteries hidden in art
Then mistakes and desire tore me apart.
Now I’m shipwrecked at the end of the earth
Desperate again to prove my worth.
The lighthouse keeper is a stranger to me
Yet one night with him sets me free.
We find ourselves united by the stars above
Both of us needing the salvation of love.
Until our secrets and shame continue to build
And what was flourishing will soon be killed.

EXCERPT
The minute Flynn opens the workroom door, my whole body zings with excitement and anticipation.
Even with his dark frown, the remoteness surrounding him like an aura, the clipped tone of his voice, I
react to him as if he were stroking my hair and whispering sweet nothings in my ear.
Jeremy hadn’t come close to eliciting anything even close to this…which is exactly the reason I’ll
go out with him again, if he asks me. Jeremy is solid, grounded, honest. Everything about Flynn is a
mystery and a fantasy. I’d gotten caught up in a fantasy with David—whose “mystery” had been a
lie—and I’d paid the price.
Never again.
“How was your weekend?” I set my satchel and lunch bag on the desk.
“Fine. Yours?”
“Great.” I give him a once-over, looking for evidence of an encounter with a chick, but while he
looks edible in his worn jeans and T-shirt, like a warm, rumpled bed I could nestle right into, his
demeanor is as impassive as ever.
Does he ever smile? Every now and then I’ve caught a glimpse of amusement, a twitch of his
mouth, but I’ve yet to see him fully smile.
“Any special instructions for today?” I turn on the laptop computer and open my notebook.
“Stay away from Jeremy King.”

Shock bolts down my spine. I jerk my head up to stare at him. He’s watching me with a
narrowed gaze, his mouth set in a stern line.
“Um…what?” I can’t get another word out.
“Stay away from him,” Flynn repeats. “He’s not good for you.”
Irritation breaks past my shock. “How would you know who is or isn’t good for me? You’ve
barely said twenty words to me the whole week I’ve been working here.”
“I don’t need to say anything to know the facts.” His tone hardens. “I don’t want you around
him.”
“Well, you have no right to tell me that,” I retort. “How did you know I went on a date with him
anyway?”
His jaw tightens. “You think people around here don’t take notice when their favorite son is out
having dinner with the new girl in town?”
Christ. I experience a sudden longing for the cold anonymity of a big city.
“I know people are talking about me,” I snap. “But I refuse to let gossip dictate what I can and
can’t do. And for your information, Jeremy knows about what happened to me, and it didn’t seem to
bother him.”
“That’s not the point. You can’t work for me and see him.”
My shoulders tense. I focus on the computer, hitting the key to bring up the database software.
“My date with Jeremy has nothing to do with my work here,” I reply stiffly. “I didn’t, and won’t,
tell him anything about the job or the fact that you’re my employer. You don’t need to worry about
breach of contract.”
“This isn’t about the damned contract.” His voice is suddenly sharp.
He steps closer to me, his soapy, warm scent filling my nose. I hold my ground, not wanting him
to see me weaken even though I’m melting inside at his nearness. Impassive though he is on the
exterior, I can almost feel the energy coursing through him, his heavy strong heartbeat, the rush of his
blood.

“I don’t want you around King,” he repeats.
“Does your animosity have something to do with him wanting to sell the lighthouse?”
“I’m not answering questions.” His gray eyes turn the color of metal. “I’m telling you to stay
away from him.”
My pulse races. “You don’t have that right.”
“I’m your boss.”
“That doesn’t mean you can make that demand.” The words snap out of my mouth without
thought. “And if you think you can threaten to fire me over this, then step back, mister, because I’ve
been through the worst wrongful termination I can imagine. And even though my employer fucking won
that battle, I still have plenty of fight left in me. I’ll put on my gloves and go another round with you, if I
have to.”
Wow. Go, Eve.
I’m breathing fast, and my knees are quaking with sudden fear that he’ll make me prove my
bold statement. I dig my fingernails into my palms. The air between us sparks with electricity. I force
myself to hold my ground, to look directly at him and—
Admiration flashes in his eyes, like a silver comet streaking across the sky. His stern expression
doesn’t change, but that brief glimpse of warmth eases the tension knotting my shoulders.
“I’m not going to fire you.” His voice is measured and controlled. “But I will not have you seeing
King.”
“You don’t like him, so that means I have to stay away from him?” I ask. “Sorry, no. He’s one of
the few people in this town who has been nice to me, and I enjoyed our date. I refuse to discount the
possibility of Jeremy being my first real friend here.”
Flynn’s jaw clenches. “He wants to be more than your friend.”
“I know.” I put my hands on my hips and look him in the eye. “He even kissed me.”
Anger crashes over his features, and a vein throbs in his forehead. If I didn’t know better, I’d
think he was jealous.

But I do know better. He’s mad because I’m refusing to do something he wants me to do.
Despite, or maybe because of, his isolated lifestyle, Flynn is clearly a man accustomed to getting what he
wants.
“He kissed you.” The word grind out of his mouth like broken glass.
“Yes. And I kissed him back. Like our date, it was nice. Nice hasn’t been the norm in my life
lately.”
“I could kiss you,” Flynn retorts, his hands fisting. “But it wouldn’t nice.”
“Oh yeah?” My heart kicks into gear, blood rushing through my veins. “What would it be, then?”
He pulls in a breath, his gaze settling on my mouth. “Hot.”
“Prove it.” Borne of my endless nighttime fantasies, the dare flies out of me without thought of
the potential repercussions.
Before I can take another breath, he grabs my shoulders and pulls me against him. I freeze,
stunned by the reality of a moment I’d imagined more times than I can count—the sensation of his body
against mine. And God, he feels exactly the way I’d imagined, a solid wall of heat and muscle pulsing
with life. Rock-hard arms that could wrap around me so tightly nothing would get past them.
He stares down at me, his steel-like gaze sparking with intent like iron striking stone. I can’t
move, can’t breathe, can’t think.
Then his mouth crashes down on mine, an onslaught, a possession, a claiming. Hunger bursts
through me, a desire so sharp and intense it destroys all my defenses in one fell swoop. I moan,
everything inside me weakening and aching for more. He slides a hand to my lower back, fitting our
bodies together. I yield everywhere, my curves softening against him, any thought of resistance
dissolving in a haze of disbelief and craving.
I part my lips tentatively, let him inside. My head spins with the taste of him—something
decadent and forbidden. Our tongues touch, breath mingling. Arousal floods me, swift and hard, as if all
the fantasies in which I’ve indulged have primed me for this moment. I bring my hands up to his face, his
stubble coarse against my palms, slide them down to the sides of his neck where his pulse throbs
heavily. He’s like the sea—mysterious, unpredictable, powerful. I could get lost in him, drown, let him
sweep me away to a distant land where no one knows who I am and what I’ve done.

He lifts his head, breaking our kiss and stepping away from me at the same time. Heavy breaths
saw from his chest, and his eyes are darkened to black. I bring a shaking hand to my mouth, suddenly
unsure if the kiss just happened or if I’m like Alice in Wonderland, spinning downward, lost in my
intricate imagination.
