Loved this book! Stormy is my new favorite biker!

Ex marine, Stormy Chilton is shocked to discover that not only was his former best friend Carmen and wife Janet killed in what looks like a drug deal gone bad, but also that it seems he has inherited custody of their 2 young children. And the shocks continue when he finds out a big secret that Janet’s sister Mila has been hiding for the past two years!

“Life is different when the kids are your responsibility, isn’t it?”

“I don’t know how to be a dad,” I mutter to Hound.

“You put sunblock on them and life vests. I’d say you’re doing just fine.”

Don’t be intimidated by the fact that Stormy is book 29 in the Cerberus series. It can definitely be read as a stand-alone. I haven’t read all of the Cerberus books and had no trouble getting into this story and following the entire storyline.

“I want to be a part of all of it.”

He gives me a smile, cupping my cheek in a way that makes me feel more loved than I ever have before in my life.”

I really enjoyed diving back into this series. The story has some great romantic suspense elements and a couple of my favorite tropes.

About the Author:

  Born in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Julie grew up in a house full of women – she has three older sisters. As you can imagine, there was no lack of drama… or romance. It starts out with an amazingly fun opening scene where Jillian is outside of a burning hotel wearing ONLY a bathrobe carrying an ice bucket…asking the fire captain if she could possibly just pop into her room a moment to grab a few things… :0

After that, photos arrived with snarky comments, and Eleanor and I got into it on more than one occasion.
When I heard Gram’s upcoming plans were more dangerous than ever, I hopped on a plane.
