This story is absolute magic! I fell in love with Josie, Fox, Laurel Lake and all its inhabitants!! There is heart, heat, humor and all the swoon!

Josie arrives in Laurel Lake (voted America’s Friendliest Town) needing a break from her very stressful job. She plans to DIY her way to fixing up the house she inherited there.

Fox is the grumpy, growly and oh so sexy next door neighbor. An ex hockey player who wants nothing to do with Josie and the complications she brings.

“The man is a coconut. Hard shell on the outside, but soft and sweet on the inside.”

“Opal is right. You’re a coconut.”

“What the hell does that mean?”

“Nothing.” She smiled. “Except I really want a piña colada now.”

What Happens At The Lake is definitely my new favorite Vi Keeland book! It deserves more than 5 stars! I’m already planning a reread of this one… maybe on audiobook.

Though I was in Laurel Lake to escape my problems, not create new ones. And getting involved with a man like Fox screamed trouble, even if he was gorgeous and unlike any man I’d ever met.

But alas, problem seemed to be my middle name this year. So why not have some fun while I was here for the summer? It seemed like a good plan. At least until it was time to go home…

They say what happens at the lake, stays at the lake. But it’s not so easy to walk away when what stays behind…is your heart.

  Born in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Julie grew up in a house full of women – she has three older sisters. As you can imagine, there was no lack of drama… or romance. Her mother enrolled her in a book club as soon as she began to read and it was the small spark that ignited her voracious appetite for the written word.

OUR REVIEW: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

“Holy Cheeseballs!” What an exciting, fast paced story! Black Hearted is full of suspense and excitement, but also lots of humor, banter and plenty of swoon… Everything I want in a romantic suspense story.

Hannah Blue is picked up by the FBI and accused of crimes against the country. She needs to escape, somehow prove her innocence while finding a way to also stop the real bad guys and the Black Knights jump in to help.

This time around, Sam Harwood has to keep reminding himself that Hannah is his high school girlfriend’s kid sister… completely off limits. But even in the midst of all the crazy action and danger, neither of them can avoid the off the charts chemistry that sparks between them.

Black Hearted can definitely be read as a stand-alone. This is the firsts Black Knights Inc or Black Knights Inc Reloaded story that I’ve read and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Wowzer! Tons of suspense and mystery right from the start. The Other Emily is an action packed, complete page turner that I could not put down.

Emily’s world is turned upside down when she receives an anonymous note.

The story is a super psychological thriller, edge of the seat, don’t know who to trust, twist after twist kind of thing!

This story is everything sweet and swoony with plenty of humor. And even with a bit of a slow burn start, this author as usual delivers with lots of heat.

She could never go there… Carly is caring for her late fiance’s autistic brother with the help of her fiance’s best friend. When Brad was alive, Josh and Carly hated each other.

Now that they are taking care of Scotty together, Josh’s preconceived notions are flying out the window … but he could NEVER go there!…Carly was and would always be his best friend’s fiance.

Heat, heart, swoon and humor… I Could Never give us all the feels!
