EPIC is an understatement for this series. This book brings you to new heights of Oh My God. I CANNOT do this book justice in a review, there are just not words amazing enough to fit this book/series. The world Nikki paints is so vivid you feel like you are living it.

This is the Third book in the trilogy and it was definitely my most anticipated, and it did not disappoint. It brought me so much more then I could have imagined.

All I can say is CHECK MATE for the perfection that is this HOT SEXY SUPER SWOONY series.

Holy mother of all things yummy!! Neighbors to lovers older woman younger man is not usually a category I read, but this one did not bring me out of my comfort zone.

This booked with its amazing writing from beginning to end had me feeling every emotion the characters felt.

All GROWN UP

 

When I first encountered Ford Donovan, I had no idea who he was…well, other than the obvious. Young, gorgeous, successful, smart. Did I mention young? If I did, it bears repeating. Ford Donovan was too young for me.

Let’s back up to how it all started. My best friend decided I needed to start dating again. So, without my knowledge, she set up a profile for me on a popular dating site—one that invited men ages twenty-one to twenty-seven to apply for a date. Those nicknamed Cunnilingus King were told they’d go straight to the top for consideration. The profile wasn’t supposed to go live. Another point that bears repeating—it wasn’t supposed to.

Words fail me in expressing the way I feel about this audiobook. It has everything, it is everything. My heart beat double time in listening to this amazingly heart wrenching book. No one and nothing is as you expect it to be. Strong alpha males and even stronger willful females carry this book into my heart where it shall stay. The love for each of these couples in awe inspiring.

Everything about this audiobook is impeccable, the writing the narration the beginning the end. Sheer perfection from the words this is audible to the words thank you for listening.

This book hit me hard and fast in all of the best ways. While reading I hit an emotional plethora. Feeling all the feels riding the wave of happy.

Heather suffered the loss of her sister but suffered even further by watching and caring for her mother who suffered in ways no one would ever want to imagine. Heather some may say took a licking and kept on ticking. She seemed to let it all slide off of her so she could continue to move forward. Then Noah rented her family boathouse.

Noah is a tough but to crack even though Heather did her best to chip away at the shell. Noah tried to fight the good fight. Always telling himself that he was doing what was best for Heather. Then all secrets are revealed oh oh boy those secrets have the potential of destroying any chance of happiness and friendship they have built.

I sat down and read this book cover to cover in one sitting. I could not put it down I hung on every word like a lifeline. When August Ends is such a fantastic addition to my kindle.

I have read and absolutely loved each of Nikki’s books this one is no exception.

The idea of her with a woman was exciting, so that wasn’t a problem. And the idea of watching her with another man was hot, but could I actually handle it? I was so damn curious.

The Blindfold Club series is wildly addictive and so hot you actually overheat while reading it. I’ve been waiting for Tara’s story because I knew it would be incredible and I was so NOT disappointed.

Tara seemed to have been looking for something anything to make her complete. She was the outcast of her family never really fitting in and always searching for what made her complete.

I just needed one person to see me. Really see me. And now that I’ve found that person, I’m good. I don’t need anything else.”

Then along comes Grant, who himself is the black sheep of the family, and Tara falls into his lap as if that is where she’s meant to be.

“Why?” “Because I love you.” I was done. Obliterated by his admission, and then by his kiss. He hadn’t asked for permission, but I was glad. It would have slowed down the time it took before our lips met, and I needed the connection to him right that instant.

My review for this Outstanding Audiobook

I went into this book completely blind. I was so pleased I did. What started off as just your average prince falls in love with a pauper story turned into a story with many twists and turns that you would not see coming from a mile away. I was greatly surprised with the story as a whole.

The narration was beautifully done and completely drew you into the story with vivid pictures in your mind.

It was a nicer waiting room than where I’d just been, but much smaller. Only enough room for six people or so. This had to be the place where doctors delivered their post-op summary to families.

I turned to face him, and all the air whooshed from my lungs.

Greg was essentially wearing a suit. He wore black dress pants, a white collared shirt and a cobalt-colored tie. His suitcoat was fitted and white, and he completed the look with a turquoise stethoscope slung around his neck. My gaze traced the blue lettering over his right breast.

It didn’t matter that he had faint lines around his eyes hinting at his fatigue, or that his normally perfect hair looked disheveled, as if he’d run a hand through it one too many times. It didn’t matter because he looked fucking perfect. My dirty doctor fantasy come to life.

And he gazed back at me like he wanted to eat me whole, which was more than fine with me. He sauntered over, and his confidence seemed to build with each step, widening his wicked smile.

His voice was deep and sinful. “What seems to be the problem?”

“Problem?” I whispered.

“You’re flushed. Breathing hard.” He seized my wrist, pressed his index finger to my pulse point, and peered down at his watch, counting the seconds. “Your pulse is elevated.”

I had no idea my wrist was an erogenous zone, but in Greg’s hands, every inch of my skin felt that way. I swallowed a breath. “I’m having a reaction to something.”

God, his expression was corrupt and victorious as he walked me backward toward a wall. He feigned concern. “Any idea what’s causing it?”

He wasn’t playing fair, but I liked it. “No . . . Doctor.”

The second the words left my mouth, we burst into flames. His lips slammed against mine at the same instant my back hit the wall. His hands were on my waist, then under my shirt, sliding over my belly and skimming upward. I clenched the lapels of his coat as our tongues tangled with each other, battling for control. He won, of course.

It made sense that our kiss was electric because I was a live wire tonight. His broad chest flattened against me, his hands molding to my bra-covered breasts while he pushed me against the wall. I tore my mouth from his and turned my head to the side so I could drag air into my lungs, and his hot, wet mouth latched onto the sensitive spot below my ear, biting and sucking until I let out a moan.

It was wild what we were doing, and how fast we attacked each other, but the where we were doing this was craziest part of it. He didn’t seem to have any concerns though. “Undo your pants,” he rasped into my ear. “I want to check and see how severe this reaction is.”

“Oh my God,” I gasped. Without thinking, my hands moved to follow his command. He pulled his lower body away from mine, just enough to allow me to do it. The snap of my jeans popped open, and I couldn’t get my zipper down fast enough. Should I be worried about someone catching us?

I wasn’t. I trusted him. Greg wouldn’t put either of us in a position for that to happen, and his calm, focused expression reinforced it. He looked absolutely in control, both of me and the situation.

His dark eyes sharpened on mine, studying my response while he slid his hand down the front of my panties. My lips parted as his fingers found me hot and wet for him. What did I look like, clutching his arms right above his elbows as his fingers twitched on my swollen clit? I shuddered with pleasure. Had my pupils dilated? Could he tell my heart rate was racing through the roof?

His lips peeled back in a smug smile. “That is quite the reaction.” Those skilled fingers stirred me further, and I tightened my grip on his arms, biting off a louder moan. Shit, his touch was magic. It lit me up. He could tell too, because his eyes burned with enjoyment. “And you’re still not sure what’s causing it?”

He liked this scene as much as I did. Maybe more.
