One Wild Night was not at all what I was expecting. It is super hot and sexy, slightly over-the-top, insta-love (or lust) story of a movie star and a “regular” girl.

Kaylee Rose is an unassuming kindergarten teacher who gets in way over her head with Star Paxton Myles. The story is really quick and fun and has the best walk of shame scene I’ve read!!

If you are looking for quick, fun, and oh so HOT, you’ve come to the right place! This was my first book by either of these authors, but I’m looking forward to reading more!

Counting On You is a fun romance with some surprise twists at the end.

Diane’s Review:
Sexiest Dad Alive is the third book in the Knight Fashion series. It can be read it as a standalone and is the first book by this author that I’ve read.

Josh and Isla are friends and roommates. But just as Isla prepares to see if things could develop into more than a friendship, Josh starts to pull away and seems to have a secret that he is keeping from his closest friends. And it is quite a big secret.

Sexiest Dad Alive is a super angsty story as Isla and Josh have to navigate many obstacles in their way as they search to find out if they can have a happily ever after with each other.

“Life isn’t a fairytale. Sometimes you have to fight for happily ever after. And sometimes you just have to let go. But sometimes in the end happily ever after finds you again.”

There were a few times that I just wanted to yell at both Josh and Isla to grow a backbone and stand up for themselves, but they eventually learn that they must support each other in order for both of them to be strong. This story has a great cast of characters, friends and colleagues that may come alive a bit more for someone who has read the other books in this series.

When a misunderstanding clouds Jude’s judgement, Vivian’s world gets turned upside down. Jude sets out single-mindedly to fight for Vivian’s forgiveness. With so much else to deal with and trying to get back to work and back in full health, she is pretty quick to reward his efforts and allow Jude into her life.

“Nothing is going to change the fact that I hurt you. Not a goddamn word I say is going to justify my actions. All I can do is tell you I’m sorry and mean it. Because I do mean it. The pain in your eyes right now is killing me, knowing I put it there. I’m so sorry I hurt you.”

Jude is the second book in The Saints series. I really loved the first book, Riddick and went into this one hoping for the same feeling, but didn’t fall in love with this one as quickly. I am very glad I gave it a chance, though and continued reading. I really enjoyed the suspenseful storyline of the second half of the book!

“I wouldn’t change a thing about the woman who makes me see a future full of happiness. A woman who will drive me insanely mad with want simply because I’m in her presence. A woman who cares about the simple things in life.”

Jude is a glasses wearing computer nerd who is also a dirty talking macho alpha police officer!! The author did a great job of blending the sides of his personality into a great character. Definitely a swoon-worthy hero!

Derek’s Thorn is an enjoyable rock star romance, but I had anticipated more edginess in a rock band book.
Derek is the drummer for the band Ashes to Ashes. He is trying to recover from a very bad break up and is of course wary.
Erin has crushed on Derek since high school days and when they meet up again at one of his concerts they renew their friendship. They slowly work to trust each other and to trust their own feelings.

“The butterflies in my stomach were in full force. The more time I had spent with Derek, the more I liked him. Part of that was getting to know him as a person. Another part was developing more feelings for him. The small crush I’d had on him was growing.”
